You can use the Live Data Caches view (on page 1) Actions menu options from any cluster node to start/reset or stop the live data cache on that node or any other node in the cluster. When you use a cluster node to start/reset or stop the live data cache on a remote node, if the remote node does not acknowledge the request within a specified time, the request times out and N4 records a message in the navis-apex.log file to indicate the error, as shown in the sample message below:
ERROR [pool-7147-thread-1 ] [DefaultNodeRemoteFacade:541] ( ) DataCache >http:SERVER_NAME:PORT/apex< timed out after 300 seconds, either investigate the node, or increase LIVE_DATA_CACHE_RESET_READ_TIMEOUT
You can use the FRMCARINA037 (LIVE_DATA_CACHE_RESET_READ_TIMEOUT) configuration setting to specify the duration in seconds after which the request to start/reset or stop the live data cache times out.
Default: 300 seconds
Minimum: 0 seconds
Maximum: 1200 seconds
Navis recommends that you do not override this setting unless you are experiencing network issues and notice the errors in the navis-apex.log file. In addition, since each node builds the live data cache for all yards, it is recommended that, if needed, you override the setting at the Global scope level.
